Saison de Frai

The most recent release from the House of Tamworth line is Saison de Frai a smoked trout brandy. While that might sound insane, it's honestly one of the best spirits I've ever tried- nothing fishy about it!

To complement this delicate spirit, I knew I needed to come up with something flavorful but not overpowering. What I came up with was an out-of-this-world Toasted Sesame and White Miso Liqueur! This liqueur balanced the sweetness of the brandy with the savory from the sesame making for an amazing cocktail. Add a few dashes of celery bitters will add a lovely vegetal kick and now you've got yourself a whole ass meal

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Saidson de Frai

  • 1 oz Toasted Sesame & White Miso Liqueur

  • 3 Dashes of Celery Bitters

Method

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and top with ice. Stir for 20 seconds until chilled. Strain into a brandy snifter and enjoy!
