Sea Side Sour

Gin

From Sea to Sea this cocktail has been a long time coming. Featuring Forij Slacktide Pine Gin from Wells Maine and homemade Jam made with berries I helped forage in Alaska last summer. To play up the nature infused cocktail I added Maine Pine Bitters from Venas Fizz House and topped with dried rose hip lowers.

Ingredients

1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

1 TBS Alaskan Berry Jam (any jam will do)

2 oz Forij Gin

3 Dashes Maine Pine Bitters

Egg White

Method

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and dry shake for 15 seconds. Add ice and shake again until chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with dried flowers.
