Watermelon Kiwi Swizzle

Gin

Swizzles are a fun and simple way to make a quick delicious drink! Swizzles are built directly in your glass, usually a collins or highball glass, and are mixed with crushed ice. This is a great recipe to learn by heart because you can swap in any syrup, juice, herb, or spirit to make your own delicious creation! I’ll attach the base instructions below for you!

Ingredients:
2 oz gin
1 oz Kiwi Syrup
1.5 oz fresh pressed watermelon juice
1 oz lime juice
Mint

Method:
In a tall glass, lightly muddle mint in kiwi syrup. Add in remaining ingredients and fill with crushed ice. Stir quickly with a bar spoon and garnish with dried fruit and fresh mint. Enjoy!

Kiwi Syrup Recipe:

  • 1 cup of Sugar

  • 1 cup of water

  • 6 peeled & chopped kiwis

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  2. Reduce to low heat and add in kiwis.

  3. Stir occasionally for 10 minutes making sure it doesn’t boil.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool.

  5. Strain into a mason jar and store in the fridge for up to a month.

Customizable Swizzle Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz of Spirit

  • 1 oz of Syrup

  • 1.5 oz of Juice

  • 1 oz of citrus

  • Herb of Choice
