Poison Apple
Refreshing apple, rich bourbon, warm cinnamon and a burst of fresh citrus are what’s waiting for you in your first sip of this cocktail. This cocktail is making my autumn dark academia dreams come true. Intelligent and refreshing, this is the perfect cocktail for sipping while enjoying a classic novel and watching the wind ruffle the trees outside.
Now that we’ve set the seen, lets get to the recipe:
Ingredients
1.5 oz Bourbon
.75 oz Lemon Juice
.75 oz fresh pressed apple juice or Apple Jack
.75 oz Caramel syrup
egg white
Cinnamon to garnish
Method
Combine all ingredients except for cinnamon in a shaker.
Dry shake (shake without ice) for 20 seconds.
Add ice and shake again until chilled for about 15 seconds.
Double strain into a chilled coupe and grate fresh cinnamon over the top.

Simple Caramel Syrup
In a mason jar, add two cups of sugar and two cups of hot water.
Add in eight whether original caramels and start to shake. If a stronger flavor is desired add in more caramels.
Shake the jar until all the caramels are dissolved.
Let cool and use in your cocktails for a mont (or as long as it lasts!)
