MDW At Tamworth Distilling
This Memorial Day Weekend, I’m spending time hanging out with the awesome crew at Tamworth Distilling to demo some of my favorite cocktails from previous classes! While I’m there, I’m definitely going to pick up a bottle of their newest limited edition House Of Tamworth whiskey. But if you missed me this weekend, I’ll be back next week for another class featuring their Floral Gin and barrel-aged honey!
Tama Yum
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Thai twist
1 oz lime juice
1 oz ginger syrup
1 oz coconut milk
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and top with ice. Shake for 15 seconds until chilled and strain into a chilled coupe glass and enjoy!
Figaro
Ingredients
2.5 oz Coffee Fig Liqueur
1.5 oz Chocorua Rye
1 oz Lemon Juice
1 oz fresh orange juice
Method
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for about 30 seconds and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Garnish with an orange peel.
Daydreamer
Ingredients
1.5 oz Aquavit
1 Coconut Cream
1 oz Lemon Juice
2 oz Soda Water
2 Dashes of Orange Bitters
Method
In a shaker filled with ice, add aquavit, coconut cream, and lemon juice. Shake for 15 seconds or until chilled. Strain into a collins glass over fresh ice and top with soda water. Add bitters and enjoy!
