In the Land of Milk & Honey

Gin

Inspired by the delicious flavors of the middle east, the combinations of lime, coconut, honey, ginger, and sage come together to create a rich and inviting palette. Multi-textured with the coconut lime granita and creamy coconut makes for an interesting experience from start to finish. This cocktail, paired with figs drizzled with honey, fresh bread topped with jam, and prosciutto - Iā€™m drooling just thinking about it.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Flora Gin

  • 4 sage leaves

  • 1 oz Ginger Syrup

  • .5 oz Sierra Fig Cordial

  • .5 oz Coconut Milk

  • Coconut Water & Lime Granita

  • Honey

Method

  1. In a shaker, muddle sage leaves in fig cordial and ginger syrup.

  2. Add in gin and coconut milk and top with ice.

  3. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and top with Granita.

  4. Drizzle honey over the top and garnish with a sage leaf. Enjoy!

Coconut Water & Lime Granita

In a shallow dish (like a cake pan) combine one bottle of coconut water with the zest and juice of three limes. Place in the freezer until frozen. At cocktail time, break up the granita by hitting it with a spoon until its flaky, then spoon it over the top of your cocktail.
